01 The Top 1% Lighting Artist Program
The Top 1% Lighting Artist Program is a live, cohort-based program with a strictly limited number of seats. When you enroll, your seat is reserved for you and removed from availability for others. Because of this, the following terms apply:
- Full refund — before the cohort begins. You may request a full refund of your program fee if you contact us at least 7 days before your cohort’s scheduled start date.
- Non-refundable — within 7 days of the start date and after the program begins. Once your cohort is within 7 days of starting, and once it has begun, program fees are non-refundable. This is because your seat has been reserved and the program is delivered live to a small group, so the place cannot reasonably be re-offered to someone else.
If you are unable to attend a cohort you have paid for, please contact us as early as possible — where seats and timing allow, we may, at our discretion, offer to transfer your enrollment to a future cohort instead of a refund.
02 Digital products and tools
Digital products — such as downloadable tools, plugins, presets, or assets — are non-refundable once they have been downloaded or accessed, except where required by law or where a product is defective and we are unable to provide a working version. If you experience a technical problem with a digital product, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
03 How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at info@cgfoundryart.com with:
- Your full name;
- The email address you used at purchase;
- The program or product you purchased; and
- The reason for your request.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days of approval. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
04 Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — in most cases we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in your access being suspended while the matter is investigated.
05 Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain purchases within a set period; where you expressly ask for a service or digital content to begin before that period ends, that right may be limited or waived to the extent permitted by law.
06 Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Changes will not affect purchases you have already completed.
